The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to inform the public, both domestic and international media outlets, of the following: On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the 51st Infantry Brigade of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces’ 5th Military Region issued a letter in response to a demining notification issued by the Burapha Task Force of the Thai 1st Army Area. This notification concerned the demining of the Chok Chey Village area (Cambodia) opposite the Nong Chan Village area (Thailand), and the Prey Chan Village area (Cambodia) opposite the Nong Ya Kaeo Village area (Thailand).
