ថ្ងៃចងចាំ នៃការឈ្លានពានរបស់យោធាថៃ មកលើទឹកដីកម្ពុជា
ខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ ៖ វត្តគិរីរង្ស៊ី ថ្មដូន ស្ថិតនៅភូមិថ្មដូន ឃុំគោកមន ស្រុកបន្ទាយអំពិល ខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ ដែលធ្លាប់ជាទីសក្ការៈបូជា ជាទីពឹងផ្នែកស្មារតី និងជាមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលនៃជីវិតសហគមន៍ បានក្លាយជាគំនរបាក់បែក។ ព្រះវិហារ សាលាឆាន់ កុដិ ជញ្ជាំង និងដំបូល ត្រូវបានបំផ្លាញស្ទើរតែទាំងស្រុងដោយគ្រាប់ផ្លោងធុនធ្ងន់របស់យោធាថៃ ខណៈព្រះពុទ្ធបដិមាជាច្រើនអង្គត្រូវខ្ទេចខ្ទី បន្សល់ទុកតែសំណល់ដ៏សោកសៅ ដែលរំឭកពីភាពឃោរឃៅនៃសង្គ្រាមឈ្លានពានរបស់យោធាថៃមកលើទឹកដីកម្ពុជា។
ការខូចខាតដ៏ធ្ងន់ធ្ងរនេះបានកើតឡើងក្នុងអំឡុងសង្គ្រាមឈ្លានពានកាលពីឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ដែលបានប្រែក្លាយវត្តអារាមដ៏ស្ងប់ស្ងាត់មួយនេះ ឱ្យទៅជាទីតាំងនៃវិនាសកម្ម និងទុក្ខសោក។ ទីកន្លែងដែលធ្លាប់ឮសូរសូត្រធម៌ សំឡេងគង និងសំឡេងព្រះសង្ឃប្រទានពរ ត្រូវបានជំនួសដោយសំឡេងគ្រាប់ផ្លោង និងទិដ្ឋភាពបាក់បែកគួរឱ្យសង្វេគ។
វត្តអារាមមិនមែនជាទីតាំងយោធាទេ។ វត្តគឺជាទីគង់នៅរបស់ព្រះសង្ឃ ជាទីធ្វើបុណ្យរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ជាទីបណ្តុះសីលធម៌ដល់កុមារ និងជាទីកន្លែងដែលសហគមន៍ស្វែងរកសេចក្ដីសុខផ្លូវចិត្ត។ ដូច្នេះ ការបំផ្លាញវត្តអារាម មិនមែនគ្រាន់តែជាការបំផ្លាញសំណង់មួយប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែជាការបំផ្លាញជំនឿ បេតិកភណ្ឌវប្បធម៌ អត្តសញ្ញាណសហគមន៍ និងតម្លៃសាសនាដែលប្រជាពលរដ្ឋបានគោរពថែរក្សាអស់ជាច្រើនជំនាន់។
កម្ពុជា និងថៃ សុទ្ធតែជាប្រទេសដែលប្រជាជនភាគច្រើនគោរពព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ ព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាបង្រៀនមនុស្សឱ្យប្រកាន់មេត្តាករុណា អហិង្សា ការអត់ឱន និងការគោរពជីវិត។ ប៉ុន្តែទិដ្ឋភាពព្រះពុទ្ធបដិមាខ្ទេចខ្ទី ព្រះវិហារធ្លុះធ្លាយ និងវត្តអារាមក្លាយជាគំនរបាក់បែក បានបង្កើតជាសំណួរដ៏ឈឺចាប់មួយថា៖ យោធាថៃដែលខ្លួនក៏អះអាងថាគោរពព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា ហេតុអ្វីបានជាអាចលើកដៃបាញ់បំផ្លាញទីសក្ការៈបូជារបស់ព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាទៅរួច?
តើមេត្តាករុណានៅឯណា? តើអហិង្សានៅឯណា? ហើយតើការគោរពព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាមានន័យយ៉ាងដូចម្ដេច ប្រសិនបើគ្រាប់ផ្លោងនៅតែត្រូវបានបាញ់ទៅលើព្រះវិហារ ព្រះពុទ្ធបដិមា និងទីសក្ការៈដែលប្រជាពលរដ្ឋគោរពបូជា?
វត្តគិរីរង្ស៊ី ថ្មដូន នឹងបន្តឈរជាសក្ខីភាពប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រនៃវិនាសកម្មដែលសង្គ្រាមបានបន្សល់ទុក។ សំណង់បាក់បែក ព្រះពុទ្ធបដិមាខ្ទេចខ្ទី និងស្នាមគ្រាប់ផ្លោងនៅលើជញ្ជាំង នឹងបន្តរំឭកមនុស្សជំនាន់ក្រោយថា សង្គ្រាមមិនដែលបង្កើតសេចក្ដីសុខឡើយ ហើយអំពើហិង្សាមិនត្រឹមតែបំផ្លាញអាយុជីវិត និងទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងអាចបំផ្លាញជំនឿ វប្បធម៌ និងព្រលឹងរបស់សហគមន៍ទាំងមូលផងដែរ។
យើងចងចាំ ដើម្បីកុំឱ្យប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រដ៏ឈឺចាប់នេះកើតឡើងជាថ្មី។ យើងការពារសន្តិភាព ព្រោះសន្តិភាពគឺជាតម្លៃដ៏ថ្លៃថ្នូរដែលត្រូវថែរក្សាដោយការទទួលខុសត្រូវ ការគោរពច្បាប់ និងការគោរពសេចក្ដីថ្លៃថ្នូររបស់មនុស្សជាតិ។
Day of Remembrance of the Thai Military’s Aggression Against Cambodian Territory
Kiri Reangsey Thmor Daun Pagoda, located in Thmor Daun Village, Kouk Mon Commune, Banteay Ampil District, Oddar Meanchey Province, was once a sacred place of worship, a source of spiritual refuge, and a centre of community life. Today, it has been reduced to ruins. The main sanctuary, dining hall, monks’ quarters, walls, and roofs were almost completely destroyed by heavy artillery fire from the Thai military, while several Buddha statues were shattered, leaving behind painful remnants of the devastation caused by the Thai military’s war of aggression against Cambodian territory.
This severe destruction occurred during the 2025 conflict, transforming a once peaceful Buddhist sanctuary into a site of devastation and sorrow. The sounds of Buddhist chanting, temple bells, and blessings from monks were replaced by the explosions of artillery shells and the heartbreaking sight of shattered structures.
A Buddhist pagoda is not a military installation. It is a residence for monks, a place where people practise their faith and perform acts of merit, a centre for teaching morality to children, and a sanctuary where communities seek spiritual peace. Therefore, the destruction of a pagoda is not merely the destruction of physical structures. It is an attack on faith, cultural heritage, community identity, and religious values that generations of people have respected and preserved.
Cambodia and Thailand are both countries where the majority of the population practises Buddhism. Buddhism teaches compassion, non-violence, tolerance, and respect for life. Yet the sight of shattered Buddha statues, damaged sanctuaries, and a pagoda reduced to rubble raises a deeply painful question: How could thai soldiers who claim to respect Buddhism bring themselves to fire upon and destroy a sacred Buddhist place of worship?
Where was compassion? Where was non-violence? And what meaning does respect for Buddhism have when artillery shells are fired at a sanctuary, Buddha statues, and a sacred place revered by ordinary people?
Kiri Reangsey Thmor Daun Pagoda will remain a historical witness to the devastation left behind by war. Its collapsed structures, shattered Buddha statues, and artillery scars on its walls will continue to remind future generations that war never brings peace. Violence destroys not only lives and property, but also faith, culture, and the very soul of a community.
We remember so that this painful history will never be repeated. We protect peace because peace is a precious value that must be safeguarded through responsibility, respect for the law, and respect for human dignity.
